3) What Does It Mean to Remain?

Scripture Anchor: Deuteronomy 5:32–33

Pause & Reflect
Guard your eyes and your thoughts. Remaining is about steady obedience, not shifting ideas. Ask Yahweh to steady your soul as you read.
“Guard to do as Yahweh has commanded… do not turn aside, right or left.” (Deut. 5:32–33)

Teaching Text:
To remain is not a feeling. It is a chosen path—walking Yahweh’s Torah exactly as given, refusing the detours of human opinion.

  • No side roads.
  • No self-made fences.
  • Just the straight path.

Invitation:
Reflect on your own turns and detours. What would it look like to refuse every detour, right or left?
